Storyline

As a teenager, Emma hears that she is terminally ill and therefore spends most of her puberty in the hospital. But against all expectations, the treatments are successful and she is declared better. That is the starting signal for her to finally start living. Life takes her from Utrecht to New York and from the meadows of Portengen to the canals of Amsterdam.
